glimpse is an interdisciplinary live event series in Amsterdam that connects emerging audio-visual artists, sound artists, and musicians to collaborate and experiment in a nighttime context. Each edition presents artist duos performing new audiovisual works that merge sound and image in real time. The evenings take place at IsoAmsterdam, transforming it into an intimate environment supported by immersive projection design and high-quality surround sound.
The motivation for creating glimpse arises from the lack of recurring, small-scale spaces for experimentation outside of conventional art spaces. We see the night not only as a time of social gathering but also as a laboratory for artistic risk-taking. A moment when sensory perception, sound, and image can merge into collective experience. Glimpse gives visibility to artists who operate between disciplines and offers audiences an alternative form of nightlife focused on artistic exploration rather than consumption.
Our first event was in ISO on 6th July 2025. The performing artists were Antonija Vuletic & Yon Eta, Tharim Cornelisse & Benjamim Furtado, and umenea.
